PWNA Clean Across North America 2010

Join other PWNA members across the continent and make a difference in your community! During the months of July, August, and September, 2010, power washing companies will be contributing their time, workers, and materials to various organizations and groups to work at schools, hospitals, shelters, parks, government buildings, as well as police and fire stations. Teams using environmentally safe procedures and EPA compliant cleaning methods will help clean accumulated dirt and grime, graffiti, mold, and mildew from our public buildings, streets, parks, and other public areas in order to give back to the communities they provide services in. All work will be performed using Best Management Practices developed by the PWNA to safely clean our communities assets.

Last year, Power Washers across North America:
  • -Washed the sidewalks outside the local senior home
  • -Cleaned a local community playground or park
  • -Kitchen exhaust cleaning services for churches and soup kitchens
  • -Cleaned the years of grime off an elderly neighbor's home
  • -Cleaned the graffiti off the walls of a local school
  • -Cleaned city parks and monuments
  • To volunteer, submit the pledge form on the right indicating a willingness to donate time to your community. After the work is completed, we ask that you send a report to headquarters describing the projects you did for your community.

During the project, be sure to take high resolution photos. We would love to see them and may post them on our website. Be sure to involve your local media to inform them of this community service campaign. It's a great way to let your community know that you care, and that you're willing to give something back to the communities that helped your company grow. Also, be sure to put the Clean Across North America logo on your website promoting your companies volunteerism.

For all participating companies, the PWNA will provide you with a Clean Across North America kit, and will coordinate the national media project. Participating firms who complete their project as pledged, and submit a final report, will receive a Certificate of Completion, and a wrap up news release for their local media with the details of their project and the nation-wide results. Please send this form back to us as soon as possible so that the PWNA can coordinate any media's request for local projects if asked. To protect the participants and the PWNA, we require all participants to provide the PWNA with a Certificate of Insurance, uphold safety procedures, protect the environment, and exhibit good conduct as a power washer.
